The key responsibilities of the Process Engineer role will be to ensure Process Capability through analysis, problem solving and process improvement cycle. Introduction of new products and Process Improvements with best quality, in a cost effective way, is also one of the main tasks of the role. As such, a pre-requisite for this role is a chemistry degree backed up by practical application and experience, in a relevant continuous process production environment. After a period of training at ‘sister sites’ in Europe, the Process Engineer will be the process expert in the Plant, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. We also envisage that, after initial training in Stoke and in Europe, and once embedded within the Stoke-on-Trent Plant, there will be a requirement for occasional travel to Europe to support sister sites, or undertake further learning for implementation at the Stoke-on Trent-Plant. Career potential for this position is very good for a successful individual, potentially moving to bigger ‘sister sites’ within Europe within a technical environment, or possibly moving into a production management capacity; that’s up to you, your capabilities and your aspirations.
