Recticel Group is pleased to announce another milestone in its journey as a smart insulation player. On 20 December 2023, Recticel Group signed an agreement to acquire REX Panels & Profiles in Belgium, a move that will allow us to accelerate our position in the growing insulated panels market.

The acquisition was successfully completed on January 10, 2024.

Founded in Belgium in 2012, REX is a trusted supplier of insulated panels for roof and wall applications. With 4 production lines of PIR and mineral wool insulated panels, it offers an excellent complement to our existing Trimo division, which specialises in higher end architectural and modular space solutions. The acquisition of REX will enable us to geographically expand our panels portfolio, address new market sectors and become an agile provider of energy-efficient insulation solutions.

The deal will also double our production capacity for insulated panels to 8 million m².

Recticel Group is confident that the deal will unlock valuable opportunities to collaborate and innovate for smarter, more sustainable buildings. We will gain 75 talented new employees. Following the closing of the acquisition, a fast-paced integration plan will be launched.
